Angela (Rachel Nichols) is working late on Christmas Eve. The last to leave the building, she heads to the parking garage. She finds herself locked in.

The security guard (Wes Bentley) offers to help.

Then, trouble begins.

P2 (the title coming from the level of the parking garage) is an effective thriller. For fans of the horror genre, this should be worth watching.

The problem comes from the fact that this is a great premise and set up for a film. Trapped in an abandoned parking garage at night? Who couldn't identify with that scenario?

Unfortunately, there are a few scenes that go too far, into the world of extreme gore. This might scare off (in a bad way) much of the audience who may have enjoyed the film. If this was a PG-13 rated film, it might have been even better.

It is more for genre fans than those who may be intrigued by the premise.

The DVD contains an audio commentary with the filmmakers as well as three featurettes on the making of the film.
